Erica Vuocolo is a Physical Therapist working in our Penn Hills office supporting the neuro rehab program. She is originally from Connecticut and moved to Pittsburgh for physical therapy school. She received her undergraduate degree in exercise science at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT in 2019 and completed her doctorate of physical therapy at the University of Pittsburgh in 2021.
Erica spent the beginning of her PT career working in acute care where she served critically ill patients during their hospitalizations. She is extremely excited to transition into the neuro rehab population at ESSMC.
In addition to being a physical therapist, Erica serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh where she facilitates lab and classroom learning experiences for PT students. She is also an APTA certified clinical instructor.
Outside of work, Erica enjoys traveling, watching sports, trying new restaurants and spending time with her golden doodle “Jeter”
