Alysia Cronauer, PTA

Alysia began her Physical Therapist Assistant career twenty-four years ago when she graduated from the CCAC PTA program.
A significant lesson she learned was that a patient needs to be seen and heard beyond their diagnosis. An insight gained by on the job experience not in a classroom.

Employment in Outpatient Orthopedics, Inpatient Neuro Rehabilitation, Acute Care, and Skilled Long Term care has equipped her to treat various patient conditions. Collaboration with PT, PTA, and OT colleagues has enhanced her interdisciplinary team approach.

Lifelong learning includes:

• APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor for PTA’s
• Strength and Conditioning Certificate.

Alysia’s personal pursuits include horseback riding, biking, skiing, photography, cooking, and travel. Alysia and her husband are outdoor enthusiast who enjoy kayaking and walking their dog together.

A Community Service Participant for Westmoreland Heritage Trail, Sewickley Creek Watershed Association, and Holy Spirit Praise and Fellowship Center.
