Meet John Bonaroti, PT, ATC
John is a co-owner and Chief Finance Officer for the practice. He is also a practicing physical therapist who is currently seeing patients in our ESSMC-Murrysville facility. In addition to practice administration, John sees a full caseload of patients on a weekly basis, with a special interest in shoulder, knee and spine rehabilitation. Intensely passionate about achieving results for his patients, he promotes an enthusiastic, inspirational and focused environment which fosters compliant participation in the clinic and at home.
John is a 1984 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Physical Therapy, where he also received his certification in athletic training/sports medicine. In the same year following graduation, he helped establish ESSMC. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the APTA Private Practice Section Business where he serves as a Key Contact for legislative affairs, the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association (PPTA). John recently received the APTA PA Private Practice SIG service award. In 2009, John received the prestigious Jefferson Award for his work with children through the Wagner House Center for Children, a family charitable organization.
An avid golfer, skier, cyclist, and marathoner, John promotes fitness, health, and wellness as both a preventative and rehabilitative lifestyle for all patients. He lives in Murrysville with his wife Stacey, where they share their passion for family, food and college football.
