Meet Michael, an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) with a strong foundation in exercise science. You’ll benefit from his bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University and his Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Gannon University. During his undergraduate years, Michael gained hands-on experience as a strength and conditioning coach intern with the Slippery Rock University football team, developing a passion for helping athletes achieve their best.
Michael also is NASM Certified Stretching and Flexibility Coach (SFC), and has always been fascinated by learning new manual techniques to enhance rehabilitation and recovery. This curiosity led him to pursue specialized training with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, deepening his expertise in stretching and flexibility.
Michael particularly is interested in supporting athletes to reach peak performance, guiding them through proper recovery methods, and engaging in discussions about nutrition. His favorite academic subject has always been Anatomy and Physiology, which laid the groundwork for his understanding of human movement and function.
Outside of my professional interests, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and staying active through exercise. He is passionate about continuous learning and enjoy sharing insights on performance, recovery, and overall wellness.
Michael will be doing assisted stretching in our Plum office.
