Zachary Boss, DPT

Zak of East Suburban Sports Medicine earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. He is also a graduate of the Kinesiology-Movement Science program at the Pennsylvania State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. Zak’s experience and interests are in treating patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries.

As a student at Penn State, Zak completed research on taping techniques to improve patellofemoral pain (pain of the soft tissues and bone around the kneecap) and received an award from the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society for Best Undergraduate Research Poster in 2012.

Zak is a fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams. When he is not practicing out of ESSMC Monroeville, he is competing in local hockey and baseball leagues. He currently resides in Mt. Lebanon.
